Inner Renunciation

વૈરાગ્ય એ નિષ્પત્તિ નથી, એ નિષ્પત્તિનું સાધન છે. સાચો ત્યાગી એ છે કે જે તેના બાહ્ય જીવનની રીતભાત તરફ લક્ષ્ય આપ્યા સિવાય ફક્ત પ્રભુ માટે જીવે છે. પ્રભુને પ્રેમ કરવો અને તેને પ્રસન્ન કરવા જીવવું – તે જ વસ્તુ મહત્વની છે. જ્યારે તમે તે પ્રમાણે કરશો ત્યારે તમો પ્રભુને જાણશો.

Renunciation is not an end, it is the means to an end. The real renunciant is he who lives for God first, regardless of his outer mode of existence. To love God and conduct your life to please Him – that is what matters. When you will do that, you will know the Lord.

તમે ખોટું કરો છો ત્યારે તે તમે જાણો છો; તમારૂં સંપૂર્ણ વ્યક્તિત્વ તમને તે વિશે કહે છે, અને તે અનુભૂતિ પ્રભુનો અવાજ છે. જો તમે તેને ન સાંભળો તો પછી તે શાંત રહે છે. પરંતુ જ્યારે તમે આધ્યાત્મિક રીતે જાગ્રત થાઓ ત્યારે તે ફરી દોરવણી આપશે. તે સારા નરસા વિચારો અને કર્મો જુએ છે. તમે ગમે તે કરો છતાં પણ તમે પહેલાં હતા તેવા જ તેના સંતાન છો.

You know when you are doing wrong. Your whole being tells you, and that feeling is God’s voice. If you do not listen to Him, then He is quiet; but when you spiritually waken again He will guide you. He sees your good and your evil thoughts and actions, but whatever you do, you are His child just the same.

તમારા અંતરમાં જુઓ. યાદ રાખો બ્રહ્મ સર્વત્ર છે. અતિચેતનામાં ઊંડી ડૂબકી મારીને શાશ્વતતામાં તમારા મનને ઝડપથી પસાર કરી શકો છો; મનની શક્તિ વડે સૌથી દૂરના તારાથી પણ અતિ દૂર જઈ શકો છો. સત્યના અતિ ગહન અંત:પુરમાં અધિચૈતસિક કિરણોને ફેંકવા મનની સર્ચલાઈટ સંપૂર્ણપણે સાધન સજ્જ છે. તેનો ઉપયોગ કરો.

Look within yourself. Remember, the Infinite is everywhere. Diving deep into super-consciousness, you can speed your mind through eternity; by the power of mind you can go farther than the farthest star. The searchlight of mind is fully equipped to throw its super-conscious rays into the innermost heart of Truth. Use it to do so.

સામાન્ય રીતે બીજાનું પૃથક્કરણ કરવું અને વ્યક્તિત્વ મુજબ તેઓનું વર્ગીકરણ કરવુંએ વધતે ઓછે અંશે સરળ છે. ચુસ્ત પ્રમાણિકપણે પોતાના તરફ વિશ્લેષણની સર્ચ લાઈટ વાળવી એ ઘણું અઘરું છે. શું સુધારો કે પરિવર્તન જરૂરી છે તે શોધવા માટે તમારે તે જ કરવું જોઈએ. તમારા વ્યક્તિત્વને સારી રીતે જાણવાનો એક હેતુ એ છે કે બીજાને તમે શું અસર કરો છો. જાણે અજાણ્યે તમારા વ્યક્તિત્વને લોકો અનુભવે છે અને તેઓના પ્રતિભાવથી તેનો સંકેત મળે છે.

It is usually more or less easy to analyze others and classify them according to personality. It is often more difficult to turn the searchlight on one’s self in strict honesty, but that is what you must do in order to find out what improvement or change is necessary. One purpose in discovering your own personality is to know how you affect others. Consciously, or unconsciously, people feel your personality, and their reaction is a clue.

તમે તમારી જાતને વધુ ને વધુ લાગણીપ્રધાન, આડંબરી અથવા વાતોડિયા જુઓ તો તમે પીછે હઠ કરો છો. તમારી જાતનું પૃથક્કરણ કરવું અને તમે ગઈકાલ કરતાં આજે વધુ સુખી છો કે કેમ તે જાણવું તે ઉત્તમ પરીક્ષણ છે. આજે તમે વધુ સુખી છો તેવું અનુભવો તો તમે પ્રગતિ કરો છો અને આ સુખની અનુભૂતિ ચાલુ રહેવી જોઈએ.

If you find that every day you are becoming either touchy, finicky, or gossipy, then you know that you are going backward. The best test is to analyze yourself and find out whether you are happier today than you were yesterday. If you feel that you are happier today, then you are progressing; and this feeling of happiness must continue.

કોઈ પણ વસ્તુ કે જેના વિશેની જાણકારી હોય તેના સંબધિત સ્પંદનો તમારામાં હોય છે. જેઓ બીજી વ્યક્તિઓમાં દૂષણો જોવામાં અને તે બાબતે અભિપ્રાય બાંધવામાં ઝડપી હોય છે, તે દૂષણોના બીજ તેના પોતાનામાં પડેલા હોય છે. પવિત્ર અને ઉચ્ચ સ્પંદનોના મનોભાવવાળી દેવતૂલ્ય વ્યક્તિ જેનો સંપર્ક કરે છે, તેનામાંના પ્રભુના તણખાથી હંમેશા સચેત હોય છે અને તેના સ્પંદનોના ક્ષેત્રમાં જે કોઈ આવે તેના સ્પંદિત બળને તેના ચુંબકીય આત્મીય સ્પંદનો વડે વધુ તિવ્રતાથી ખેંચે છે.

Anything of which you are cognizant has a relative vibration within yourself. One who is quick to see and judge evil in other persons has the seed of that evil within himself. The God-like person of pure and high vibrational tone is always aware of the God-spark in all he contacts, and his magnetic soul vibration draws to greater intensity that vibrational force in those who come within his vibrational range.

ઘણા લોકો પોતાની ભૂલોને દરગુજર કરે છે, પરંતુ બીજાને માટે કઠોરતાથી અભિપ્રાય બાંધે છે. બીજાની ખામીને માફ કરી અને આપણી પોતાની ખામીઓને કઠોરતાથી તપાસીને આપણી વર્તણૂંકને બદલવી જોઈએ.

Many people excuse their own faults but judge others harshly. We should reverse this attitude by excusing other’s shortcomings and by harshly examining our own.

જેમની ઇચ્છાશક્તિ પ્રભુ સાથે એકતાર છે તેવા ગુરુની ઇચ્છા સાથે જો આપણી ઈચ્છાને ગુરુના જ્ઞાન દ્વારા દોરાવા દઈએ તો પછી આપણી ઇચ્છાને દોરવા તેઓ પ્રયાસ કરશે કે આપણે દિવ્યતાના રસ્તે ઝડપથી મુસાફરી કરીએ. સંસારી માનવ અને સંત વચ્ચે મુખ્ય તફાવત એ છે કે સંતની ઇચ્છાશક્તિ દિવ્ય ઇચ્છા સાથે સમસ્વર હોય છે.

If we allow our will to be led by the wisdom of a master, whose will is in tune with God’s, the master then seeks to guide our will in such a way that we travel swiftly on the road back to divinity. The chief difference between a worldly man and a saint is that the wise man has attuned his will to the Divine Will.
