Inner Renunciation
જેઓ સ્વૈચ્છિક રીતે વધુ મેળવવા માટે થોડું ત્યાગે છે, તેવા ભક્તો દ્વારા પાડેલી શાણી કેડી એટલે સન્યસ્ત. તે શાશ્વત આનંદ ખાતર ઇન્દ્રિયોના ક્ષણિક સુખને છોડે છે. ત્યાગ એ પોતે નિષ્પત્તિ નથી, પરંતુ આત્માના સ્વભાવને પ્રદર્શિત કરવા માટેની ભૂમિકા સ્વચ્છ કરે છે. આત્મસંયમની કઠોરતાઓથી કોઈએ ગભરાવું નહીં; આત્મસંયમ દ્વારા પ્રાપ્ત થતા આધ્યાત્મિક વરદાન મહાન અને અજોડ હોય છે.
Renunciation is the wise path trod by the devotee who willingly gives up the lesser for the greater. He relinquishes passing sense pleasures for the sake of eternal joys. Renunciation is not an end in itself, but clears the ground for the manifestation of soul qualities. No one should fear the rigours of self-denial; the spiritual blessings that follow are great and incomparable.
